2002-2003 Scouting Year
Scoutrees
The First Maxville group is the host group for this annual event where Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers
and their leaders and parents come together to plant between 3000 to 4000 trees. Thank you's go out to
all who assisted in making this a successful event. Bring along a bucket, shovel and work gloves.
Church parade
After being postponned by one week due to snow the group attended the Church service in Dunvegan which
was being lead by an old Scouting friend who happens to be a student minister in real life.
Christmas party/potluck
All sections came together for our annual Christmas party, concert and
potluck supper on Sunday December 15, 2002 at the Maxville Sports Complex.
Santa Claus Parade
The Cubs and Beavers got together and put an entry in the Maxville Santa Claus Parade.
Last Annual Meeting for Stormont-Glengarry District
Group committee members and the Cub Leaders attended the last meeting of the Stormont-Glengarry District.
