4. Explain the meaning of the following street/trail signs and how to respond:
 

- Stop sign

- Yield sign

- Traffic light colours

- Railway crossing sign

- One way sign

- Pedestrian crosswalk

5. Explain/demonstrate how to do a safety check (pre-trip inspection) on the following
 

- check tires for air pressure

- check lights/reflectors/seat/mirrors for good working condition

- nuts and bolts for proper tightness

- refueling and purpose/functioning of the reserve fuel valve

- steering assembly

- brakes

- oil levels

7. Demonstrate the following skills
 

- adjust the vehicle to the operator

- start the vehicle

- drive vehicle in a straight line

- use the correct hand signal and stop the vehicle

- turn left and right safely along with hand signals

- safely follow a lead vehicle

- negotiate uneven terrain
